Adorkable @ Pose Fair 2013
Pose Fair 2013 has begun and there are so many great stores involved. Adorkable has several new sets of poses available, I’m featuring two poses from them. Adorkable is a unique pose maker who includes a mirrored version of each pose. This photo was done using Grace 1 and Grace 1m. In theory I could have created this photo by mirror myself in photo editing software, however, what if I wanted to do a location shot, with two avatars….mirrored poses for the win. I like the idea of mirrored poses as many times I will want to use a pose but because of what I am wearing it just doesn’t suit the post, but the mirror will. I’m wearing Doll COCO’s mesh ball-jointed doll avatar. This avatar body is free and comes in two skin tones, Snow, and Cacao. You can choose from a number of unique mesh heads as a separate purchase for a custom look, as well as mesh clothing, and costumes specifically made for the doll. She also has accessories like hats, helmets, even bat wings, animated insect wings, and monster feet are available. Join her free group and click the vendor at the store to get your starter body. The body has several body options, with or without lingerie, and ‘smooth’ option with no genital details, and a default version with nipple areolas and full genitals. After purchasing a Head for the body, you can wear it in place of the White Cap that tops the doll body. The head also includes a wearable teardrop, and a head with closed eyes. The dress comes with two necks in the skin tones, I didn’t need them, and the boots with two skin color options. I removed my doll feet to wear them.

For this photo I am wearing Doll COCO’s gift Rabbit Avatar. This rabbit looks so serious, it’s just adorable. Its a free gift, right next to another free gift of Wizard of Oz themed mesh characters, and a mesh Dorothy avatar. This rabbit also comes with a camouflage jacket. I’m showing off the cute Whimsy 2m pose from the Whimsy post set. I loved how even more defiant the bunny looks with it.

Ploom ~ Harlowe @ Skin Fair 2013
Ploom has the Harlowe skin at Skin Fair 2013.. This skin features nice body toning and shading, in seven skin tones. I’m blogging the Cream skin tone, as its close to the range of skin tone I usually wear, but I also really liked the Vanilla which is paler then I usually wear but a really nice pale tone. The skin is available in five makeups, and with purchase you also get two eyebrow shapers, breast enhancer, nail cover, and lash tattoo. I’m wearing the included prim feather lashes. Wasabi Pills just released this lovely long mesh hair style. I like that it’s a bit wavy, it has a nice casual look.

Adam n Eve @ Skin Fair 2013
Adam n Eve has these three skins out at Skin Fair 2013. With Adam n Eve skins you always know you are getting a nicely toned skin, with good attention to details, and shading. Bethany is shown here in tone three, and features a special tattoo layer for a bare inner eyelid. This allows you to either soften your eye makeup, or add another layer over for brightness without darkening that layer. Also included are blonde, red, and dark eyebrows on tattoo layer, and hair bases in pale blonde, brown, red, and black. The skin comes with a cleavage enhancer, and dehancer on tattoo layers, and nail cover on glove layer. There are five makeup skins, one bare skin, plus freckles and dimples on tattoo layers.

Maha is a lovely skin, and features a freckle layer that’s tintable to get just the right shade of freckles for you, and dimples. Included are two hair bases one of them being a wavy texture. Tuli ~ Elyse skin @ Skin Fair 2013
Tuli released a new skin called Elyse at Skin Fair 2013. Elyse is available in three tones, Pearl, Powder, and Petal. The skin comes with black, blonde, red, and brown brows. There are two types of makeup options, Sultry and Elementary. Check out Sasy Scarborough’s post on the Elementary makeups. I’m blogging the Sultry with the Powder skin tone. There are 15 lipsticks, in matte and glossy versions. Tuli also includes a nail concealer on glove layer, and cleavage ‘boost’, and ‘subtle’ options on tattoo and undershirt layers. Dimpled version skins are included with purchase, and they are my favorite. Also included is a shape, and eyebrow shaper. Lola Tango appliers are available for purchase separately.

Hair Fair 2013 - Designer Applications Now Open
Preparations for Hair Fair 2013 have already begun. We have spent the past week receiving applications from last years participants, and are now opening the application process for any new and existing hair stores interested in participating this year. The event is a charity event, and all stores will be donating 15% of all hair-packs sold to Wigs for Kids, so if you know anyone that sells hair, let them know so they can sign up to be part of the 8th Annual Hair Fair.
Izzie’s @ Skin Fair 2013
As a blogger, when a fair comes out, I know I am not the only one looking for particular items to style with what I am featuring. Skin Fair 2013 is an example of that, I have to show skins, that means many of use are pulling out our stock of lingerie, and swimwear, and on the hunt for new styles of them. I would like to know if designers consider designing with these events in mind, like knowing that Skin Fair is the perfect time to release a collection of lingerie, and or swimwear. Izzie’s did, or at least I did when they released their Jolie Lingerie mid fair. This set of lingerie features nine colors with many layer options, and panties with garters on or off, and stockings to match. Hair is another item obviously, I’m wearing a mesh hairstyle from eXxeSs, its a half up half down long pony called Wenda.
Skin Fair 2013 is still going strong, and open until March 31st. Izzie’s released the Asia skin there, and this skin is worth stopping by and grab some demos and checking it out. Asia comes in six skin tones, light, Ginger Edition pale, peach, medium, tanned, and dark tan. Tango appliers are available for Asia. The skin comes with brows in light, blonde, red, and dark, and an enhanced cleavage option, and nail cover on glove layer. Asia has three eyeliners, six eyeshadows, and six lipsticks on tattoo layer. Izzie’s includes an eyebrow shaper, and it’s very own shape. The skin tones are lovely, and I like the peach, and the Ginger Edition pale tone, definitely worth checking out.
