The beat that I’m bangin’ is delicious

Droppin’ the g’s cause I’m a high roller. I totally love this look, kinda glam and fun, it’s a night out on the town, and possibly some trouble mixed in.  My club crawl has turned into a sim crawl as I’m having to type it up on the fly from sim restarts. I’ve gone from my studio, to hiding out in a phone booth at Exile to currently sitting on the sea floor of an empty sim, running from sim restarts, and waiting for home to come back up. Nobody rocks an empty sim like me… ‘cept possibly Sasy who is sitting next to me doing the same.

DCNY release the Pop Princess collection of mini dresses at My Attic. They’re a fun, spicy, group of mesh dresses in a variety of colors, and themes. I’m wearing the Scary Dress, which features a brown glittery top with leopard torso and skirt. These dresses are designed in two pieces. If you own more than one, you could easily mix and match tops with the skirts to create even more looks. I’m wearing the Luxe Fur Jacket from Mimikri. This is a mesh jacket hat comes in two pieces as well, a lovely formal short jacket with lapel, and another fringed collar to wear over it. In theory if you owned more then one also you could also mix up the look. Other jackets feature many types of leopard prints so you can really have fun with this look. I’m wearing the Mesa Platform shoes from Epoque in black. These are very high, and I love the smooth look to them. My hair is a recently release from Exile called Part of Me. It’s a lovely mesh updo, and I love how this shaded called Afterglow which features a fade, works with the style to give me highlights on the bun portion in just the right spots to really accent, and highlight this style.

My Attic’s February session runs through to February 28th. The theme for this session is ‘Pop Music’ and the designers, and guest designers participating have created beautiful items based on what that theme means to them.  A selection of fashion, hair, poses, accessories and props available. Mix & Match + New SLink Boots

SLink recently released the Vanity Boot! This mesh leather boot features a wood wedge heel, with double outer leg zippers and a zipper on the inner legs. The main boot leg hangs over the foot portion. The Vanity Boots are available in 11 colors, from natural tones to bright fun colors to brighten up your winter.

I’ve paired the Vanity Boots in black with DCNY’s mesh black wash Denim Pencil Skirt, and Ison’s mesh Kimono Sleeve Cardigan in Sand. I’ve brought out added orange as to bring some color to the outfit with my melon colored Intrinsic Tank from Jane, Maubray’s Candy Bangles, and Tiny Satchel in Scarlet from The Secret Store. Miel’s Sha Jewelry Set seemed to be perfect to balance the look. It’s metal changeable via click. My hair is a new hair style from Exile called Little Talks, it’s a cute wavy high pony tail, with bangs/fringe.

A-Line Girls

Sasy and I have created two cute looks with the new mesh A-Line skirts from DCNY and Damask Sweaters from The Secret Store. We went in different directions with colors, and accessories, creating unique, soft, cute looks. The Secret Store’s Damask Sweater is currently available at Collabor88, and DCNY’s A-Line Skirts are currently at My Attic. I went with the Salmon Toast colored sweater with the Poppy Blush skirt, I picked up the greens with the apple colored new shoes from Maitreya called Liaison. They’re located in the Maitreya Gold store at Maitreya, and are mesh. They feature short leg warmer options in a variety of colors, straps on/off. My hair is Mosch from Ploom, is mesh with color change headscarf. It’s also at the My Attic event. I’m wearing the Garden makeup of my new Meghan skin from Adam n Eve. It’s a soft, fresh look. I’ve accessorized with handbag from The Secret Store, and my pearl studs from the Jennifer Set from Yummy. Available at FaMESHed, is the Belted Shelf from Pilot. Cloud

Collabor88 for November 2012 opened with a new themed collection called Painted Desert.  Brilliant theme, the color palate was refreshing and dead on for this theme.  From the collection I’m wearing Clawtooth’s I Never mesh hairstyle, Clawtooth released two hairs, this one is similar to the other, and features bangs/fringe. I’m also wearing jewelry from Collabor88 - Maxi Gossamer Jewelry’s Tarifa mesh necklace, and matching mesh earrings.  They have color change/resize via menu, just click the jewelry. It’s very lovely, very southwest.  I’m using these items to style with DCNY’s new mesh Boho Baby Dress.  It’s a cute dress in a variety of fun colored paisley patterns, from subtle buttercream to its a bohemian Christmas with Gingerbread.  The design is cute, featuring ties on the bodice and lovely trim. I’ve styled the cloud colored (cerulean) with matching cerulean shoes and purse from Maitreya.  Izzie’s recently released this new skin Geanna. Shown here in my favorite tone Sunkissed, you can see its a lovely, fresh, youthful look.  I’m wearing the nude rose lipstick, and silver eyeshadow.  Izzie’s skins features lipsticks, eye shadows, freckles, cleavage options, and are avialable in a variety of tones.

Comfortable & Casual

I pulled this casual and comfortable look together for a fall day out photographing autumn trees.  My location shot didn’t work out, but I love the how the browns work together for this.  The corduroy mesh pants from Beetlebones are too cute, and some thought to design, and dressing  into consideration. They’re done in two versions, a tucked and untucked, giving a bit of help to those of us who are working to layer mesh, and prim parts. I’m wearing the tucked version in Brown, and over it I’m wearing my mesh DCNY D-Line sweater.  Because they are the tucked pants, I don’t have to resort to wearing a size smaller than usual pants, with a size up in my top.  The DCNY sweaters are a fun addition to my wardrobe.  The variety and pairing of colors in the set, really can make this a sweater choice that can last through winter. Nice sizing of knit, and color pairings.  Included but not shown is a matching knit scarf with purchase.  Both the pants and sweater are available at My Attic for $95L until October 31st, after that, check the mainstores. I’m also wearing a new mesh hairstyle from Vanity Hair called Verity. This is a really flattering style, with the cutest barrettes.  My shoes are a recent addition to my wardrobe from Ison I picked up at the most recent Collabor88.  I picked up the whole set cause I couldn’t pick just one color, the loafers looks great.  My camera is from Tee*fy, it’s so cute, and my watch is from Miel. I recently gushed about the SLink mesh hands here, but still have to say, SLink’s mesh hands still win over the regular avatar hands.  I feel so different when viewing my avatar now. Hair Fair 2011 over at midnight SLT July 15th. Featuring 4 sims full of designers who each are offering 3 to 5 new hairstyles with a portion of each style going towards Wigs For Kids. Women’s, men’s, casual, formal, fantasy styles you name it. Plus many designers have included a free gift in their stores. Check out the bandana booths on each sim! Bandana’s made by hair/clothing designers, content creators, and your fellow residents! Bandanas are $50L each, and 100% benefit the charity. Bandana Day is July 15th, the last day of the fair, the day we take off our hair, wear a bandana to show our support to those effected by hair loss because of illness.  Bandana booths are located all over the fair. All bandanas are unique, one of a kind, limited edition available only while the fair is on.  Shown here are a small handful of what’s available, by a variety of stores, and residents. Stop by while you can!
