I’ve built a corporate fashion forward look with Emery’s new mesh Destiny top that’s currently available at My Attic. It’s available in 5 colors, and I think this look would really pop with the berry and au colors. I went a bit more sedate with my beige. It’s a high waist cut, that goes nicely with My Attic palm print Irie skirts, or any high waist bottom. I’m wearing it with Celoe’s Nikka Skirt in pitch, they worked perfectly together. I’ve accessories with SLink’s new Attache Bag in black, which is also available at My Attic, and Erratic’s new Emily leather boots in beige. The Emily boots are available in 11 colors, and a nice variety of browns within, and include a HUD for 3 types of metal inner zippers. I’m wearing a new skin from Tuli, the Eva in makeup 04 with dimples, and used the Tuli skin applier to custom match my SLink mesh hands. My nail polish applier is My Attic Sandee available in Set 30. Its a lovely cream, with silver pinstripe. My hair is newer from Wasabi Pills, and asymmetrical fringed bob called Betty. It’s currently available at FaMeshed. My poses are Adorkable’s Ella set, Cinderella themed poses before and after her fairy godmother change. All in keeping with My Attic’s April theme of ‘Change’. Beach Bound

My Attic opened yesterday, the April 2013 session has 24 stores participating! I’m wearing a bandeau top and maxi skirt from ‘a new to me’ store called Lacuna, which is currently available at My Attic. Both pieces are mesh, and come in a very wide range of colors. The skirt is hugs nicely, and I love the stripes, and the angle they hit at for maximum figure flattering. The range of colors the stripes come in is nicely done, perfect for summer!  My hair is Erika from Wasabi Pills, a new mesh hairstyle available at Fantasy Faire 2013. It’s long and I love the bit pulled back behind the ear. I’m wearing the Coral Jewelry Set in Gold from Handverk. It’s mesh and available in a variety of colors. I love the attention to detail, and how many small little bits are in detail on it. My skin is a new skin available at Adam n Eve, called Patrice shown here in T2, I’ve matched my hands and feet with Adam n Eve’s Skin Applier hud, available as separate purchases at their store.

Since I am beach bound, I am barefooting it in my updated version of SLink’s Mesh Feet. SLink recently updated their hands and feet to include an Avatar Enhancement edition, that allows you to accurately texture them to match your skin, if your skin designer has made appliers; check their stores, or send them a notecard requesting this addition. I’m wearing nail polish on both the hands and the feet from Flair. It’s the butterscotch polish from Set 22. The new Slink Avatar Enhancement hands and feet give you so much more now, between applying the exact skin, to adjustable nail length and shape, and even stockings!

One Bad Pixel & The Secret Store

One Bad Pixel & The Secret Store recently released these cute items.  I’m wearing One Bad Pixel’s new Sweater and Blouse combo in Navy Chenille.  The shirt and sweater combo are a one piece mesh item, that includes a HUD to change the color of the shirt, the belt buckles, and belt colors.  It’s fast and easy to create new looks. The Sweater and Blouse combo is available in eleven colors.

 I’m wearing the new mesh Annie Pencil Skirt from The Secret Store.  This skirt is available in eight cute patterns, I’m wearing the Navy Polka dot.  I’ve accessorized with Maitreya’s Calgary Clutch in Claret, and Maitreya Gold’s Liaison shoe in Oxblood.  My hair is Ivette from Wasabi Pills, it’s a pretty pulled to the side low pony tail, and I love the curls at the end.  My skin is new from Tuli, it’s the Zoe in Powder with dimples.  I love her dimples.

Spring Pinstripe

Sysy’s recently released these cute wide legged mesh pants called Rayures. They feature two styles, one for wearing with heels, and another for flats. They’re a cute cuffed pant, with crisp pinstripes available in ten colors. I’m wearing the peachygold color with Maitreya’s new Mignon top in bright emerald. It’s a versatile mesh sleeveless top that can be styled casual and formal. I’ve used it for a bright influx of color, and accented the outfit with accessories in green and orange. My jewelry set is Maxi Gossamer’s Santa Fe jewelry. It’s mesh, and color change via menu. My tote is Maitreya’s mesh shopper in Everglade. My shoes are Ison’s mesh Kippen Wedge boots in a bright tangerine color. It’s a bright colored outfit, cause I’m thinking about spring now that Punxsutawney Phil says spring is around the corner. My hair is Wasabi Pills latest hairstyle called Fay available at FaMESHed. It’s a cute wavy style pulled off to one side. My skin is new updated skin from Tuli, called Helena, in the powder skin tone. I’m wearing the dimple version, with Intense Coral Gloss lipstick layer.

Ginevra

Izzie’s newest skin release is Ginevra, and it’s beautiful as expected.  Ginevra comes in 8 skin tones, and in addition with the exception of the Mocha skin tone come with dark, light, red, and blonde eyebrows.  Layers include an eyeliner, blush, freckles (face), freckles (face & body), and MOLES!  I’ve shown a face below with all the layers, with the eyeliner layer on. The skin comes with 11 eye-shadows, and 12 lipsticks on layer.

The included freckles are lightly scattered around the body, and a dusting across the nose and cheeks.  The mole option has a variety of small sized moles scattered here and there, with a few on the face.  The blush layer is a really healthy color and about the cheeks and hairline.  The eye liner layer features a nice thick line.  The eyeshadows when layered create some really pretty eyeshadows.  I recommend the using the smokey over the top of another shade for a unique dramatic look. The body is as lovely as all of Izzie’s skins are. Demos are available for you to try them.

Nevermore

The Secret Store and Nyu released the mesh Fall Babydoll Dress last week. I’ve been saving it for the right moment, and Halloween is my inspiration!  It’s a cute mesh dress will full sleeves, and cute lace collar.  I’ve paired it with Izzie’s Overknee Socks in white, with LeLutka’s Pow Pumps in black.  One of my favorite accessories in Second Life happens to be League’s Raven Necklace.  It’s gothic, yet cute with the ribbon ties at the back.  It features ribbon ties in cream, cadet, and black, with the metal work around the raven’s head in silver, and old silver. They’re all very subtle but  it makes a difference when you style an outfit. I added The Secret Store’s Girly Briefcase in black, Izzie’s Claw Nails, and am wearing Wasabi Pill’s Christy Hair, from The Costume Ball again. I’m wearing Ploom’s Harlowe skin in Milk.  This skin tone is so pretty, and the eye makeup is nice and heavy with flourish on the eyes. It’s available at the Zodiac event for the Scorpio session.  My picture features Lisp’s Asylum Raven Chair. This chair is chic texture with a raven, and features two ravens.  Very gothic, very chic.

Space For Free

Drift recently released this mesh dress called Mutiara.  It’s available in a vareity color sbut I really liked this mocha color specially with black accessories like my Geisha Leather Belt from Fishy Strawberry.  I almost went with a pair of black gloves but I can’t part with my mesh hands from SLink just yet.  I’m wearing the elegant set, which works beautifully with accessories like my clutch from DeLa, and my Kashiti Bobble Ring from Zaara.  I’m wearing a new hair from Wasabi Pills that’s currently available at The Costume Ball.  It’s a lovely sweet hair style, with ribbon, very Alice -like.  I’m wearing Amacci’s Hazel skin, this particular one has really pretty makeup, but I left my lips bare, as I love the base lip colors.

Unfinished Symphony

Wasabi Pills will be releaseing this beautiful mesh hairstyle at FaMESHed in Novemeber.  It’s features two versions, one of which is for larger chests, includes hair base, and HUD to change the color of the headband.  This is a sneak peek!  So don’t forget to visit FaMeshed, in November to demo it!  I love how perfectly this cinnabar red shade works with my Red Falling Skirt from SySy’s.  It’s a nice ankle length mesh skirt, with subtle patterns of leaves, and dots.  It’s striking against the colors of the new Maitreya Lux Sweater I’m wearing, this color/pattern is Alpaca Fruit Tree which I used an older purse from Armidi Gisaci/Fashionz! to pull the colors out with.  This mesh sweater has a nice knit, and I like the attention to the cuffs, hems, and the fullness of the sleeves.  I’m accessorizing with Miel’s Friendo bracelet and necklace which come with a HUD to change the text of the blocks, and features several pre programed color sets, this one is spice. I added Maxi Gosssamer’s Lealao earrings, and thought Tee*Fy’s ballet flats from the current session of  My Attic were perfect.  Tee*Fy’s mesh Oleander Pointed Flats come in a variety of colors, and are a cute addition to your wardrobe.  I love the color of the toe caps, and how they can really add a lot to a look.    Be sure to grabs some demos at My Attic!  SySy’s skirt, and Tee*fy’s flats will be available for $95L for the next two days at My Attic.  After that you will be able to find them in their mainstores. The skin I’m wearing is new from Amacci, this is Hazel in her lovely nutmeg tone. Amacci skins come in an assortment of makeup ready bases, and cleavage versions, with additional lipsticks/stains, eyebrows, and enhancers. It’s a lovely skin, and I went with the #08 Green skin, with the #5  lip tattoo.  I loved the base lip shade on this, but went with the additional color, many of the lip tattos had a lovely lightened effect on the lips as well.

Maddening Shroud

TuttiFruitti’s new mesh jeans are so much fun to get dressed in, she has so many prints to choose from.  Here’s a link when I blogged her So Good  print the other day.  Today I’m wearing the Connected print, which is a lovely plant leaf print on black.  The colors reminded me of a calla lily so I worked in some pale green, which the Maitreya Short Trench worked out perfectly for in Asparagus.  I layered the Maitreya Bodysuit in White underneath.  I’m wearing Celoe’s Clement Necklace in Shine, it’s a mesh chunky rock necklace that is available in a variety of shades, great for dressing up in.  I chose to go with my Milano Slingbacks in Black Python from YS&YS, they feature prim feet.  My hair is Wasabi Pills’ Veronica, which is a really soft pretty style.  Great for anything from casual to formal wear. I want to wish a ~Happy Birthday~ to Gyorgyna Larnia of LaGyo/LG Concept.  ;D  I’m wearing LaGyo’s Bizarre Flower Headpiece in this bright marigoldish shade. It’s texture changeable, and was featured at a previous Collabor8 event.  It’s bright and happy, and when worn with the new mesh jeans in the So Good print from TuttiFruitti reminds me of my childhood.  (My living room was turquoise and yellow back then.)  It’s a happy outfit, and I found all of the new mesh jeans from TuttiFruitti in happy prints, they’re a brand new release so you should run and grab some demos. Til The Clouds Clear

Dhalia Sol

CHIC Management is celebrating their second birthday by throwing CHIC²! This event has tons of designers, and some really cool items this event is open June 3rd – 24th!  Shown here from the event is the Casual Chic Dress from Sassy!.  These are casual mesh rompers with cute prints, shown here are three patterns, but even more at the event. Sassy! uses standard sizing, be sure to demo.  I really liked the Leaf print, it was light and fun, and liked how the print contrasted against the shade of light banana I chose for my shoes and jewelry.  My jewelry is Je Suis, and the line is Voyante.  All color changeable via menu with many presets, and RGB options. I’m again wearing the K.I.A shoes from LeLutka, when I bought these I KNEW I had to have the fatpack, and it’s paid off.  This rosy brown shade went perfectly with the Dahlia print of the romper.  I brought out the red with the Cowhide Tote from R.icielli, they are available in a wide, wide range of colors, all in mesh. Ploom has this pretty skin Lea with makeup style called Dahlia, life is funny that I would have this and the romper in the same named print available to blog at the same time.  Ploom has some really beautiful pale tones, but I went with Tea for this.  This skin is available at Skin Addiction’s Skin Showcase event until June 10th. I’m also wearing Wasabi Pills Monique hair, which is a great mesh stye, with purchase is a “boobs” option hair which allows for a little more upfront as the name suggests.  It also comes with  HUD to change the color bands, and hair bases.  My shadow photo was taken in my Songo Courtyard Garden from Barnesworth Anubis decorated with matching furniture all available at Collabor88 at the moment at a great price.

Bananarita & Cosmopolitan

One Bad Pixel just released their Ring Bikini at faMESHed.  This mesh bikini comes in a wild array of colors, and is super smexy poolside.  Sasy and I spent our Saturday lounging around the pool of Trompe Loeil Zuma Hills home in our bikinis, click here to see her post.  This house is all mesh, its really something to see, plus the pool water has poses to lounge around in. I feel like Barbie in this house. I really liked this bikini, I found the alphas were great, but I didn’t need top alpha as it fit just so (I wear a size S top, size M bottom for these) and was in the privacy of our own pool. I love the details of the side ties, and the ring in the cleavage.

I’m wearing Wasabi Pills Annette mesh hair in Rye, with the hairbase that comes with  it. It’s a nice small pony, with a few whisps about the forehead. I’m also wearing Izzie’s Classic Nails Spring/Summer 2012, that feature a nice selection of current 2012 color trends for polish.  I was able to tint to match my toes on my mesh feet from SLink, they include a nail tinting hud, as well as a nice hud to custom match your skin, and add other nail polishes. They are nicely formed feet and a dream to customize, and fit.

Culture Shock 2012 – June in Zuma Hills

Culture Shock 2012 has opened, and is jam-packed with 180+ stores!  This event runs through May 26th, 2012.  This is a Chic Management charity event benefiting Médecins Sans Frontières with stores donating 50%-100% of sales of a selected item.  Check out the Culture Shock Blog for more information, and a list of stores, as well as Médecins Sans Frontières for more information about this organization, and the events sponsor – Modavia Fashion.    Teleport to Culture Shock 2012

I’m wearing a mesh dress from Celoe, which is available at Culture Shock 2012.  It’s a lovely mesh frock available in a number of fashionable trendy colors. I particularly like the silkiness of the fabric, and the lovely gathered bodice. I’m wearing Adam n Eve‘s Amaris skin, in natural with the provided small freckles optional layer. and SLink‘s Sarah hair in caramel, another mesh item.  I have contrasted against the turquoise shade with accessories with warmer tones, like Zaara‘s Balini Necklace in Carnelian-Cyan, her Kashiti Bobble ring, and clutch purse from DeLa in Orange, Ison‘s color block pumps in a warm cognac, and Izzie’s latest release – Spring/Summer 2012 Classic Nails in Tangerine.  Izzie’s is also participating in culture shock, check out her booth there, to see cute tri-color tops she has.

I am so over the moon with these nails, as I was having a problem finding just the right shade of nails to compliment and contrast with much of my newer purchases this season, so I approached Izzie Button to consider adding them. They are exactly what I was looking for! I’m completely excited about fashion this year do to the plentiful offerings by many designers featuring the 2012 Pantone color trends.  Seriously I am in heaven, and never have been more excited to hit the stores, and get dressed.  They have me happily wearing orange.  I’m in shock.

My location photo was taken just outside the Zuma Hills prefab from Trompe Loeil available at Culture Shock 2012, This modern, open plan home is made of mesh, and features a lovely pool, many built in features like fireplaces, art, kitchen, lighting, and cypress outside the front entrance. Also shown in my photo are Trompe Loeil’s Zuma Hills barstools in the kitchen area, and couch, chairs, and plants in the living room area.  I’ve used aDORKable poses for this pose, but not the specific ones they have available at Culture Shock, I plan on using these for another post, be sure to check out their booth there.

Road Trip

So while having an incredibly crazy dream that Sasy, Ashia and I were on a road trip one thing stuck out.  Ashia demanding that I wear cream.  I remember looking at the outfit she’d picked out, the pants were a very tailored corduroy, and more a light banana creme.  When I woke up and logged in I knew I had to wear these great mesh pants from SLink.   Gawk! just released shaded long pull overs in a range of colors, worn here is brown. I have mine tucked in, but you can wear it over and longer.  I love my mon tissu Seneca Threaded Leather Belt, it’s available in eight colors, and lots of variations in brown to get it just right.  Maitreya‘s latest release are mesh ankle boots called Devi.  They look great, and are available in eleven colors.  My hair is also a mesh goody from Wasabi Pills, I love this hair style.  The soft thick braids up front, and long and loose in the back, with trendy 2012 bangs. The mesh moves with you really doing this style justice. I’m wearing eyes and skin from Amacci.  I like that my lipstick is this deep red soft shade that goes perfectly with my Mandala nails, and picks up the red in my shoes, and the the red tones in my belt and bag. My bag is another mesh item, that moves with the body, from Celoe, also available in a selection of colors.

Retro Wasabi

Wasabi Pills has released a number of new hair styles since Hair Fair 2011. Shown here in a style post is a cute one called Pompon.  Featuring color/texture change headband, ribbon, knot, and hair bands.  It’s a cute look, I love the bangs.  Also shown are Roy which is a nice unisex style, and I think Thor does well for girls as well.   MissAllSunday Lemon, the hair designer behind Wasabi Pills brand, had many requests for a variation of her Kiki hair, and released Kiki Act II. I’m wearing a fun top called Vicky from artilleri which features a variety of different ‘patches’ shown here with Cherry.  I paired it with an early summer release from LeLutka, the Caprica jeans, shown here with the 3/4 cuff option.  Bukka is a cute store I love to find new things in, shown here are the Double Ring Belt, in this amazing color, it’s full of options even color change loops to match your clothes. I’ve pulled out a favorite style of purse from Celestial Studios.  Celestial Studios was around for years for those didn’t know. They were a popular place to go for skins, eyes, and clothes.  They closed earlier this summer, and will be missed. If you have their items, brush them off, give them an airing they are still great. Lately I have been using alot of their babydoll dresses with my Bloom avatar.

YS&YS’s new release is the Milano Slingback, a sexy slingback shown here in Cherry White.  These are cute, I love the various patterns and colors. These are prim feet, and be sure to remember your best tricks for tinting as they do not feature any prim work to hide the attachment point.  Remember when tinting you will never get a perfect match, just very close to it. For these I recommend being sure to size them right to obscure the area. I sized down about -5 to hide the join. When tinting for street wear (as opposed to blog wear) I like to use the default light settings or a standard Caliah windlight setting. The majority of people on the grid are using default or a Caliah windlight variation. I no longer wear face lights.  Together these help assure me that most people most of the time are going to see me with matching feet.  It’s not fool proof, it all depends on what someone else’s default light settings are, and if there are lights around.  Who cares when they match on my screen ;P!

Many people aren’t sure how to go about tinting feet with just using a color picker, for those who aren’t sure I have taken a shot of the color picker on the YS&YS HUD, and circled the area I used to sample colors from.  This area, as well as below into the greyish areas is great for finding various skin tones.  Just use the slider on the right to move between light and dark after choosing.  Play with it a bit.

Bandana Day is July 15th, the last day of the fair, the day we take off our hair, wear a bandana to show our support to those effect by hair loss because of illness.
