Green Onions

I had a bit of fun with color starting with Exile’s Celebrity Skin hairstyle.  After changing into my Lacuna tank and jeans, I accidentally wore my Wild Fusion 2 HUD instead of the Natural Fusion HUD, and when I saw the Tropic hair shade I couldn’t take it off! I love how with the Exile HUDS, you can now click the little polkadots under the shade to add extra streaks of color.  I added more orange to this shade.  I had planned on wearing my new SLink Tri-Colour Wedges again, changed them to match my outfit, as well as my Summertime jewelry from Maxi Gossamer.  It was too easy to get dressed today.  My Lacuna jeans and tank are all mesh and currently available at My Attic for $95L.  The Secret Garden come with a coordinated Ribbed Tank, and the Ribbed Tanks are also available in packs of three. My Glamorize makeup is currently at Cosmetics Fair, and it’s at a great price!

Summer Rain

I’ve got a soft boho romantic casual look with Okkbye’s Innocent Ruffle Dress in Soft Creme from the My Attic event.  Perfect for dressing up or down, this dress would be cute with leggings too. I went with Maxi Gossamer Summertime jewelry which are mesh, and texture change. Ploom’s Knitty hairstyle with texture change band, and Ison’s Scout Boho Bag in chocolate. The poses I am used are from Pretense, another My Attic event item, they are designed for holding a bag, duffel, or tote, and also include a duffel bag. I’m wearing new shoes from SLink!  These are the Tri-Colour Wedges, designed for wearing with the SLink mesh medium feet.  They are available in a Multipack with a HUD which allows you to texture change the wedge’s heels to light, dark, black, and the shoes heel, mid, and toe leathers! The shoes are also available in Singles, which also include the wedge options of light, dark, and black, but come in a variety of colors from Bollywood to Under the Sea themes.  I prefer the Multipack, so I can have the choice mix the themes up. The great news about them is they have the new “Materials” specular lighting, so you are using the regular LL viewer there will be that effect.  If you have no clue what the means, it’s like bump map in edit applied to a texture, and click here to see on SasyPant’s post! The City Limit

I’m ready for some summer parades and days out in the sun with this outfit. My top is Emery’s Bralet Pia Mia top, a My Attic event item.  It’s available in various colors and patterns, would go great with high waist-ed skirts, or pants.  I’m wearing Erratic’s Sally Zipperskirt which is also available in other colors, and even with contrasting trim giving it an athletic look. My mesh body bag is from Sleepy Eddy, it’s in-store gatcha item.  It’s modifiable, so you can fit it nicely to your body size. I’m wearing Je Suis’ Douce earrings and necklace.  They’re texture change, with a variety of options for the pearls, metal, and hibiscus, plus size, and scripts. My shoes are Maitreya’s Shiki platforms, in midnight blue, and I’ve accessorized further with Flair’s Set 106 manicure, a cute set of garter and bow manicures for my SLink avatar enhancement mesh hands. The manicure set is available at My Attic. I’ve topped it all off with Vanity Hair’s The Meadow updo, a swirled loose top knot.  This hair would be great for historical dress as well as formal wear.

Summertime Rolls

The dress and skin I am wearing I picked up at My Attic.  The dress is by House of London/Pink Outfitters and features this fun convict stripe play on the theme “Escape”, with solid black side panels, for a slim look. My skin is from Ploom, the Gia – Starfish in Sunkiss tone.  It includes various layer options like breast enhancer, lash tattoo, and even lashes, all of which I’m wearing.  both items are currently available until the end of the month at My Attic for $95L!

I’ve accessorized with Amorous’ Urchin Earrings, and You bracelet.  They have a menu to customize colors and resize. The Calgary Clutch I’m wearing is from Maitreya, it’s mesh and includes two options to face the front out while wearing, or the back. The Amae Sandals from Celoe were perfect choice for this outfit with their bright Depth/Zest a perfect batch, I chose to go with the gold rivets over the black rivets on them to bring more of the golden tone down to the feet.  My manicure is a ful style from Flair, it’s a cell manicure, meaning the outline around the color of my nail is to mimic the cell shading of cartoons, print, and  other illustrations.  It’s a fun look on my SLink avatar enhancement mesh hands. I topped the look off with the Emeli hairstyle from LeLutka, with matching hairbase.  I love this style specially in their fades pack.

It’s A Beautiful Day

I love how pale pink and black work so nicely together, stripes included.  I’m wearing the new mesh Striped Fiji Skirt in black from Emery which is currently available at My Attic for $95L, with my mesh zebra clutch from BSD Design Studio, another My Attic goody.  I’ve paired them with a rose colored peplum mesh top from The Secret Store.  It features these cute buttons down the front, Peter Pan collar, and cute bow belt. The peplum shirt is available in a wide range of colors and prints.  I’ve accessorized with Maxi Gossamer’s Summertime earrings and bracelet.  They’re mesh, and click to change color/textures. I’ve finished off with Maitreya’s Allegre heels, and Exile’s sexy updo Live Every Moment another My Attic release, as is my manicure from Flair, a cute rose pink nail with bow garter in black for my SLink avatar enhancement mesh hands.  I love Tuli’s new Sara skin, it’s such a lovely sweet face, I’m wearing 006 in powder and dimples.

Erratic Summer Burst

I’m all set for wandering around the grid in my super comfortable outfit! Erratic released these cute mesh shorts, and mesh tank.  I love that the tank I’m wearing is a double, all nicely layered without having to wear another.  I also love how nicely the knotting is at the bottom, as well as the ribbed tank texturing. My jewelry is new, from Handverk and this particular stone is available at My Attic.  While 3 colors are out at My Attic, The Burst Jewelry Set, is going to be available in 6 shades in store afterwards.

My comfortable shoes at Miel’s Espadrilles, done in mesh, featuring a HUD, that lets you chose from a variety of colors in a theme.  In this case my HUD is the Naturals, and I have selected black on the front, and the sides.  In theory you could probably wear these over mesh prim feet, wearing a size larger shoe, and a size smaller foot.

My hair is a recent release from Exile, the Hold On Loosely, its a soft long pigtail style, I’m wearing a color from the Natural Fusions pack. I also went with a casual, and natural look for my skin, with Izzie’s Holly in Sunkissed.  I’m also using Izzie’s Sunkissed skin applier on my SLink Avatar Enhancement Mesh Hands, and Flair’s Fingernails Applier Set 105, which are available at My Attic, as a special combination of two sets (there are 4 sets of 2 available) at $95L.

Bandana Day Kits

Each year we call out to the large community of Second Life to help us help Wigs for Kids. On the last day of Hair Fair we have Bandana Day, the day where we remove our hair to show we care, in support of those that have lost hair, or suffer from hair loss. Every year people from all over, not just the Hair Community, submit to use their bandanas they have made from the kits we provide, and they are then sold at 50L each (transferable) during Hair Fair on all four sims.

We have raised hundreds of extra USD each year with these bandanas, and it is also a great way to share and show community spirit, as people share their reasons behind wanting to help, as well as their creativity, and fun. We are about to begin the Official Hair Fair Photo Contest, for Hair Fair 2013. We wanted to give you enough notice, as the contest starts on the 7th. You can upload up to 8 entries, and entries close 28th of June.
