I’m wearing Ink’s Chignon hair style from Hair Fair 2013.. It’s a fedora hat hair with a loose low ponytail at the back. The shade I chose was the “roots” shade which is a golden blonde with brown roots. The hair comes with a HUD that lets you change the hat, and band. I’m also wearing Ison’s Detzel Leather Shirt in Black and White with House Of Fox’s Leather Panel Skirt in black and white I picked up at Collabor88 this month. I chose my Jacqualine Sandals from Celoe in Glamour (black) with silver details for my shoe. I mixed in some color with my pink and silver Boho Bangles from Maxi Gossamer Jewelry, Candy pink nails from Flair’s Set 1 on my mesh Slink hands, and Emery’s Samantha Clutch in Jalpur. My skin is Marnie from Adam N Eve, and I’m wearing T3 in pink to match my nails. It’s a lovely skin, I love the attention to detail such as my hands, and especially that Adam N Eve also makes skin appliers for SLink’s Mesh Avatar Enhancement Hands, so I get the same quality of detail there too. The skin comes with dimples, so of course I had to wear that makeup layer too. 😀
Ink released five hair styles at Hair Fair 2013. The hair is advertised as guy hair, but I don’t care, its perfect, although I would like to see the Chignon on Gary. I’m wearing it for my style post, I liked it so much. Both Chignon and Newold are “hat hairs”, with Huds that let you change the fedora color, and fedora band. Newold is full loose hair under fedora, and Chignon is a low loosely looped ponytail under fedora with wisps here and there. Benzie is a full messy hairdo that comes with two styles included, A features a bit of a part up front, and B is nearly fully covering the eyes. Andy is short hair style that angles forward. Seya is a grown out High and Tight style which includes several styles of hair bases, including one with longer sideburns. INK also has a gift hair at Hair Fair 2013, the SKC Blonde/Blue which is a blue and white striped knit cap on chin length hair in their blonde shade.
Hair Fair 2013 began this weekend with over 80 hair stores participating. There is an amazing selection from fashion forward to fantasy! Men will be particularly pleased to know there is quite a lot of styles for them this year, so grab your guy and shop for a good cause. Your purchase of any hair styles at Hair Fair 2013 will donate a percentage to Wigs For Kids. You can beat the lag at Hair Fair by joining the Hair Fair Demo group inworld, and trying on demos in the comfort of your home, before coming to the fair. Vendors are set up to redeliver any hair that you might miss accepting, which eliminates double purchases as the vendors will only let you buy it once. Just left click the vendor and it will redeliver.
Also available at the fair, are Free Official Hair Fair 2013 outfits, which feature him and her layer clothing, and hair bases from DCNY and Exile. No need for AO’s, just find a bus kiosk and rez a bus to move in edit around the fair, they come in singles, and larger versions for group shopping. This year the theme is a fun interlocking block build, each sim has it’s own unique color scheme and style so you can easily tell where you are and where you’ve been. Upon arriving at a landing point, you can chose left or right, follow the path and easily make your way around the fair, back to where you started assuring you of full fair coverage. Many stores also have placed out free gifts, and dollarbies.
