Lelutka plans to release three mesh heads on April 1st, 2015. No, it’s not an elaborate April Fools Day hoax, it’s legit. The mesh heads are named Ever, Leda, and Aria. Shown here is the Ever. I really liked Ever straight away. I like Leda and Aria too, they’re beautiful but since the head does change slightly when you use the head stretch sliders in edit > shape, I really wanna play around with them some more.
I wear mesh bodies and found that they fit well with the Maitreya Lara body and Slink’s Physique body which I am wearing for this post. They’re designed to be worn WITH a mesh body, so you will need to demo it with your mesh bodies to see which it suits best to your liking. They are not made to work with the standard Second Life default avatar shape/body alone. As with mesh heads I’ve tried so far you will need to toggle the eye spacing on your shape, and per the instructions eye depth as well.
The Lelutka heads come with skin bases in 10 tones, and brown eye brows. I found the brows work with blonde, brunette, and red hair. The heads come with a main hud that lets you choose from 2 styles of lashes that you can toggle off, or tint. You can also turn off the blink option for the eyes. On the main hud you can also adjust the shimmer and blending options for makeup. Blending effects the intensity of the makeup on your skin, so you can slide from a soft natural effect to a stronger one. This will effect your eyeshadow, and lipsticks. With eyeshadow you can also add shimmer, this is an option that is also available for the skin base itself as well. It can only be seen if you have your advanced lighting turned on in Preferences > Graphics of your Second Life client. Also with the lipsticks you can slide the gloss option as well. The shimmer and gloss gives you a realistic shine, and making your eyes look amazing in the sun and lights! The main hud also has features for neck size, hide/show ears, open/close mouth and eyes, save presets you like, and restore/remove buttons for the makeup areas.
The Lelutka heads also have additional huds for hairbases that feature two types of bases a fine and a thick base, in eight colors. You can also tint the hairbases for other shades. The included lipstick hud lets you chose between a light and dark shade of lipstick in the same tone. This I had fun playing with the gloss and blending to create a variety of shades with and without gloss using the main hud with it. The eyeshadow hud features one eyeshadow and two eyeliners.
I think after playing these evening with the Ever, head I’m going to wear it quite a lot. It’s very beautiful.
I’m wearing the Lelutka Ever head with one of Lelutka’s newer hairstyles called Rebel. It features their new range of hair colors. I’m also wearing Luxuria’s Retro Garter Slip. It’s a sexy slip available on layer and includes Slink’s Physique appliers. It’s currently available at My Attic for $95L a color until March 31st. Available in six colors.
