Sasy and I were out and about and as it happens ended up with a head set. Well you know as well as I, a head set means you have to be up for an adventure so, a magical costume change later, there we were, distracting a tough security guard, and stealing plans, and a rendezvous afterwards. But the amazing thing is our hair didn’t move a bit out of line, thanks to Exile. Enjoy our amazing adventure, and notice…not even hanging up side down can disturb our coifs. I put together a cozy winter look. Lot’s of layers of warm material have me ready to curl up to read a book. This cabled cardigan from INDI Designs features a great white shirt underneath, all prim parts well made, and able to wear alone, or with each other. I loved how I was able to match the beige tone with this wool skirt from DeeTaleZ, and the Miel Lia Leggings. A cloud of hair to from LeLutka, and this cute set of jewelry from EarthStones, with the new LeLutka Gem skin finish the look.

I pulled together a couple of everyday looks for Halloween. Mostly based around Eclectic Apparel ‘s Calypso dress. She did a Halloween themed set as well for some added fun. The hair is fun, and from Ploom, and quite a deal, as is the pumpkin filled with treats from Albero’s Gatcha festival going on. The Sylfie’s shoes are oldies but goodies, all prim wonders. The Idiosyncrasy skin is a Halloween deal, and was/is available for $10L, currently she has another in store with a cool zipper under the eye. Enjoy. Happy Halloween!
So what I love about Hair Fair, is its so very much an exposition. Consider the Worlds Fair, or your State/County Fair, the best get to go, and each show off their latest talents, and innovations in products. We’ve seen some amazing concept hair aka avant garde, we have seen some amazing designs that we haven’t seen inworld yet. Some cover the needs of high fashion, or alternative sub sects of style, or even the most basic of needs…like Scribble’s Cleaning Day. You might already be familiar with their braided crown hair, but Scribble is new to me hair wise as I am always ways paying attention to the clothes in their store when I go. Designer, Radio Signals has created 5 styles showcased at Hair Fair 2010. The hairstyle Scribble chose for Wigs For Kids, is called Saturday Morning, this cute short pigtail styles. Everyday casual, and one that would be adorable on a child. Also released are two sideswept styles, an updo, and my favorite Cleaning Day. Cleaning Day features this adorable kerchief, the pattern of the fabric is this lovely dark red with paisleys. It’s just what I always wanted.
I couldn’t wait to wear it with my Sianita dress from Reale, I have it in this pretty denim/yellow print, but am wearing the dark denim/pink version for this post. Reale has a knack with the dresses they make, always a favorite in my wardrobe. I last wore their tulip dress to an Oscar party. This dress is a fun, casual denim babydoll, with hints of retro/vintage with it’s prints, and rick rack. I kept it casual yet nice with my Nantucket Spectators from Surf Couture in Red, and a Hobo Bag from Celestial Studios. My skin choice was Laqroki’s Alice, a nice dewy skin. I pulled out some cute jewelry from Luc, to keep the casual look going. My poses are from Olive Juice, and so cute.

I got a big surprise from Glance when I tried on their Beyonce skin, I went from soccer mom to FIERCE. This skin is incredible. If you are looking for a mid-range tan – to light ethnic skin, this is it! I have walked around in this skin for 2 weeks now, not even wanting to share it with anyone in a blog post. You simply must grab some demos and try it out for yourself!
The makeups are all well-chosen for the skin tone. They feature cat eyes to dramatic eye shadow to natural, all with coordinating lipsticks that really play up the skin. This is my shape, the shape I wear for every post. Not even custom modded to “accommodate” the natural effect the skin would need. It’s just that yummy! When Glance does a skin, it does it in one shade…it’s a concept. I would like to see them expand that a bit tone wise…perhaps a slightly lighter and darker for each of their skins, which prominently feature a look inspired by popular celebs du jour. It wouldn’t work with all of them, but would with a few others…which I hope to blog soon as well. These alone are glorious, I can’t say enough..check out my abs, my knees, and the all over effect! Wait till you try on the demos yourself!
My favorite outfit I kept coming back to recently, was comprised of some of my favorite items in my wardrobe, and a few newly acquired items too. I’ve got my fun bridisi slacks from Gisaci, paired with this fun zebra corset, which is a new item from Dreams. Textures adding depth from my DeLa cropped jacket, to my bangles and nails from Mandala. New to my inventory is this fun hair from Xplosion, and my JazzleWorks Vajazzle! Yes, I am wearing vajazzle OVER my slacks…it’s the new black..seriously are you gonna hide all this fun away? Phaylen tp’d me to this cute little place that had them… I snagged the heart as it was perfect for over the pant look, creating a bedazzled slacks effect. My lingerie photos feature hair by fri.day, and lingerie by Glam Affair (formerly Beauty Avatar).

Last week Sasy dragged me out of my house and over to the Designer United II event. The theme they had worked on was “the Crow”. Many offerings of feathered themed or feathered clothes and accessories, and most in black. I bought quite a lot of it, and regret not buying all of it. I really enjoyed all the feathered theme clothes. Design wise so much can be done inworld with an event like this when you get people together to have some fun. Design challenges should be done more often, and I beg designers to really keep their heads up, and be quick to sign up and participate for ALL of them regardless of whats going on. I am sure you have noticed feathers all over the feed as bloggers showcased their shopping finds there.
I paired my top from Beetlebones called Shake Your Tail Feathers in Gunmetal, with a tutu skirt from the new releases at Sexy in Pink. The tank has a feathered attachment for your shoulder which takes it from casual to chic, and I have played with that attachment enough now it goes with so many other clothing items. If you have it, try it! Sexy in Pink did a new release this past week, with skirts, stockings, tops, and belts. Shown here is the tutu skirt in pink, with their Punk Silver Stud Belt, and Wide Net fishnet stockings. It’s a fun flirty skirt, a wardrobe builder, and available in several colors. I had to wear my Animosity boots from SiniStyle with, I don’t wear them enough considering how long I lusted after them. These are a great boot, and could seriously hold their own in a mosh pit, as they are sexy and versatile. I am so happy to have these awesome gloves from LeLutka, designed by Marni Grut, who was recently added to the design team there this fall. Sporty and chic, they are sexy gloves, with great texture work. I chose my perky Natasha hair from ETD in black, with my Mia Pinup Skin from Idiosyncrasy, to complete a fun stylish look. The make up works perfect with this style of hair.
